Garage List
you know, i didn't watch the video but i did sigh very loud when i saw the title.

i'm not sure if it's because i grew up in and around chicago most my life and parking crazy is a daily thing but i can parallel park a box truck.

now i'm not saying everyone should be able to parallel park a box truck or be able to pop wheelies in it but i am saying if you can't park your damn car then you shouldn't have a license to drive it.

you don't buy the "ultimate driving machine" so you don't have to drive it.

sorry, i didn't mean to rant.

that is all.

A feat of engineering and computer wizardry for sure, but made a conscious decision not to spec this as like you gtron I struggle to see why any 'normal' person would want/use it.

I totally get where your coming from. Its pretty bad that we have come down to this where people cant park their own cars.

I think BMW is just aiming this feature at the older generation that lives in the suburbs and never have to park in tight spaces.

Ba ha ha. Rant away until your heart's content. I have it and it's a nice little toy but it's frustrating to use when you have other cars up yer tailpipe. They become confused thinking you can't possiblly be thinking of parking there as the sensors take you way past the space. Very odd.

I got this specifically spec'd since I knew my wife can't parallel park to save her life, plus she most certainly would damage my wheels in the process. I get your 'despise' to this option but it came in pretty handy in my case.
