Upgrading iDrive?

Just saw this video...

How do i go about adding this to the 2013 535i? the 2013 system is super slow and the audio isn't as loud as 2016 from what ive seen.

Retrofitting NBT EVO to a F10 is going to run you several thousand in parts, plus whomever you can find to install, code it for you. I'm not aware of anyone that sells a complete kit at this time, but you might reach out to bimmerretofit.com

perhaps not worth it then... is there anyway to add an amp to boost the speaker output?

Bimmertech sells an upgrade amp for many late model BMW's:

Bavsound makes great drop in speaker replacements too.

ive got the bavsound front done. If the aftermarket amp is going to cost me about $900 installed and setup, id rather just buy the NBT evo then lol

Updating the headunit isn't going to make an appreciable difference in overall volume, it is simply a line level source. The amplifier is what is chiefly responsible for sufficient gain to drive the speakers to high volume levels.
