just dropping the front?
SO I recently upgraded my wheels and although it doesn't look like it needs lowering in the rear, I could see how dropping the front an inch or so would improve the appearance by closing some of the gap.
Here's pics from that thread: http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=983820 Does it make any sense to do this to lower just the front? Any problems with this approach? Due to the line of work I'm in, I'm really going for a sleek and elegant look, not the slammed, or super sporty look. Also what does this do to handling? thanks for input Last edited by Ben2k9; 05-25-2014 at 09:29 AM.. Reason: adding pics |

i did the same thing initially, dropping the front:
http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=751384 i think that eibach or ACS are the closest to the OEM spring rates. after lowering the front and you dont like the car balances, modify the rear by changing to a thicker sway bar. |

I'd lower it in the rear too, think it'll look weird if the front is lower.

I did exactly that using your exact rationale: I lowered the fronts only in my 2014 528i with Eibachs because of the front gap. I did not have any problem with the rear gap. Actually, the car looks much better with the slight front rake without the slammed-look. It rides and steers as OEM and install price was just $140...
