Constant power source in the fuse box?
I want to install a camcorder which has a parking mode for monitoring while parking overnight. I need to find a constant power source in the fuse box to connect the camcorder. Any idea if this power source is exist in the fuse box and what number is it? Thank you.

I know that the OBD2 port has constant power. I made the mistake of leaving a bluetooth OBD2 adapter connected in my car parked for the weekend, and finding an almost dead battery come Monday morning. Not sure which fuse it's connect to, however, perhaps you can tap directly into that.

You need to hook it straight to the battery. I have a dashcam with a power magic pro. It shuts off the power when the battery hits 11.8V so it doesn't kill the battery.
I can turn it off that it doesn't constantly record as well. |

Just wonder if the OBC would send out a 'battery leak' message because I heard this concern on some other forums. Ever happened to you?
