Internet Radio Cover Art and Metadata Display Problem (iPhone5)

I have a 2012 F10, my question is, has anyone experienced the problem of cover art and metadata information not updating from one song to the next when playing music from an internet radio site? I find that problem doesn’t exist when playing music strictly from the device itself. I've experienced this problem since I've had the car and have toyed with it on-off for a while now. I find that if you go into the options tab eventually (2-3mins) it will update the song title there but will not display the information on the information screen.

Can you get cover art from itouch or iphone? How do you do it?

Yes, I get cover art from the iPhone 5 using the center console USB port. Are you saying you are not getting cover art display at all? I didn't do anything special for either Internet Radio or iTunes music.

are you using just the USB port? I am using a cable from my E90 that connects to usb and aux.

You don't need that cable if you have a 2012, you need nothing but the 30 or 8 pin USB cable depending on your iPhone model. If you have the iPhone 4/4S it will play the video BTW, but not the iPhone 5.
