hard shift when accelerating after braking.

I have a 2016 535D with 135,000 KM, and have noticed something when driving.

When I go to accelerate after braking, the car seems to almost hesitate for a second, then suddenly kicks, almost like a hard shift.

For example, I was braking when approaching a red light, the light went green, I was turning left so I coasted through the turn, then when I pressed the throttle there was a delay and then a sudden kick of acceleration.

I am always worried about the HPFP failing and hesitation is apparently a sign but this seems like more a transmission thing, but not sure.

I have done the transmission service with a fresh filter and ZF fluid last fall.

Any opinions?

EDIT: I just ran the codes and found nothing relating to the transmission or HPFP or any significant codes, I did have a delivery pressure too low code and a electric fuel pump power consumption code but those should not cause what I am experiencing.
