After having lived with my 535xi for 6 months now, IMO BMW should have used the suspension settings of the Sport mode as the Normal mode. I almost always keep the car in Sport mode at this point. I think a lot of that "weighty" floaty feeling that the F10 has been criticized for is gone and the steering is perfectly weighted. The Normal mode is just a tad too soft for me and would be perfect for the Comfort mode. Otherwise the car is fantastic. I just wish it would stay in Sport mode when I turn off the car

I think they did a good job with the settings but as you are showing each of us has a preference, I agree with you the sport mode is preferred. What BMW should have allowed was the ability to use sport mode as a saveable mode so that when you restart and you left it in sport is remains in sport.
