Is there a way to play video from the internal harddrive or USB connected flash drive? I'm thinking about the DVD changer but this would be better...

Yes I'm in for a group buy.

Do you need your VIN/Chasis number though to order one ?

Reason I ask is that my car is not due for delivery till mid December.

You need your VIN number in order to get the software. Lucie will likely let you get in on the deal, then when you have the VIN they can make the CD image.

As long as you don't have a DVD loaded when you bring it in, I doubt you'd have an issue. If you leave the disclaimer delete in place, that might be a bit of a red flag.
