Mirroring while using Bluetooth?

Heys guys! I always listen to YouTube music videos using my Samsung Note3 connected via Bluetooth. Is there a way to actually mirror the video to the idrive? I've watched several videos but seems all needed a module of some kind? I thought maybe there's an APP I can DL?

Nope, you need to bimmertech's multimedia interface and the smart view interface for the mirroring, I have it and i can mirror everything wireless from the iPhone to the OEM Idrive screen, also can mirror the movies stored on the iPhone and play on the screen. Great for passengers on long trips.

oh it's definitely worth it if you have the small screen. You can get the google maps mirrored to your screen now! that alone is worth it

it works for both small and big screens

Oh cool than. But it looks like I would also need the $300 multimedia interface on top of the $199?

Yup the multimedia interface opens up the option to add basically anything to the stock OEM screen. You will definetely need this to add the smartview mirroring interface. My setup so far is:

Multimedia interface
AV1: Smartview interface for mirroring iphone
AV2: Mini Media player for playing any video on a USB/SD card
AV3: OFF/ Maybe will add a front camera

Hey Sunny have you compared the quality of the video to a 10" screen. I mean is it still pretty clear? My Samsung Note3 has a pretty big face on it and that's what I use for navi or watching movies
