Hi to all,
I have some missing options after 6WB retrofit
I VO coded all the car with new FA including 6WB, no problem during the coding and the black panel works fine and communicates well with HU. However, Lane Change Assistance and Speed Limit Info functions are missing. You think it is necessary to code some FDL ? For which ecu ?
I guess there is something to code on KAFAS control unit, as it is the shared module for the two systems SLI and LCW malfunctioning

Your option codes for SLI (8TH) and LCW (5AG) should be in your FA, so you should not have to FDL code anything after VO coding head unit and instrument cluster.

However, some coding (eg, HUD turn signals and LDW) does not work with 6WB.

In addition to the modules you mentioned, those packages can affect DSC, FRM, ICM, and SZL.

All option codes are already on the FA of course. The only thing changed on it is adding 6WB.
After ISTA Diag. I see that the HC2 module (SWW) has to be programmed. Also, no CAFD file anymore on the module - it doesn't accept the CAFD chosen after detecting on Esys - has to be flashed; any help would be welcome

Sorry to resurect this post, I have bought an F07 530D GT (can't find a forum specifically for that model)

It is a 2011/2012 with CIC and a retrofitted 6WB, all seems to work except I've realised the speed limit info isn't being displayed. I've checked for errors with ista+ and the KAFAS system is showing as working with no errors.

Is this a simple coding issue I can change with E-sys?

Check DKOMBI and speed limit info is aktiv.

And VO has the speed limit info code in it.

Chassis number is C223211 in case it helps.
