Electric steering issues
Hi i have a 2013 740li that was involved in a front end crash and bent the driver side tie rod. Car was repaired and everything and the tie rod has been replaced but when you drive the car now and turn the wheel right or left it stays stuck in that position and you have to manually reposition the steering wheel to the center. The car drives straight and we have taken it to an alignment but they said that won't fix your problem so we haven't aligned it yet. We replaced the steering rack but still having the same problem. Does it need to be coded or is an alignment issue causing this?
