Hey all. I have been lurking around the forums for a couple of weeks now. I finally found a great deal and pulled the trigger on a 2013 550xi, M-sport this past weekend, which prompted me to join this community.

What an amazing ride it is.
First mod will be to get ride of the amber reflectors on the bumper

. I'd like to hear that V8 so I'd like to get an axle back exhaust. I'm considering of stick with OEM and locating a stock M5 exhaust. Any reason I shouldn't go that route? There may be a JB4 in the future as well.

Congrats on the new ride. The F10 M Sport looks great in Alpine White. If you go for the OEM M5 exhaust, try to hold out for one from the Competition Package, it will give you just a tad more grunt than the regular. Also note that you will need to replace your rear diffuser for proper fitment of the M5 system.

That seems to be like searching for the Lochness monster. Thanks for the heads up about the diffuser. Is there anything that is similar sounding, that would work?

The M5 or M6 mufflers has a nice sound which you wont regret. Get the front lip and diffuser to add a more agressive style to the car. There many other mods that you can add but read the forums so you can make better decisions. Good luck!

also if you do the comp m5 exhaust get the exhaust meister its a device that lets you control the valves remotely...its great specially if you have family riding in the car it can be quiet when you need it to be

yup yup. also fitment for the M5 comp mufflers is not a direct fit these are AR DPs but they are exactly the same as the OEM ones minus the flange. so you will need a top notch muffler shop. also congrats on the car. you should go for the intakes, little pricey but it will put a smile on your face!

check it, car shop finished one of the videos has the list of my mods, the middle one was done with my phone and the others my friend's phone that is obviously old as F@#ck
