Plasti dip with metalizer weekend project

So I got tired of folks telling me to darken my wheels, I decided to try dipping them. very easy instruction on the net. I am very happy with the result

Hey man that is very nice. I saw that video yesterday. Thought about it, but not sure if the shape of my wheel would look good with it.

Did you have any over spray on your paint?

I only had over spray on the door and side light, but those were easily rubbed off.

Could you give me the link where you get the plasti dip? Im on dipyourcar.com but couldn't find that. And I guess it's better to do it in the garage right? Since the outdpor wind could blow the spray to your paint

I purchase the dip from Pepboys, its also sell at walmart. yes I did it in garage but after the last coat dried, I move the car outdoor for better drying, also make sure you have proper ventilation

No, I purchase 4 cans of black and 2 metalizer from pepboy. the trick is to have real clean wheels and add silicone or some other tire shine to JUST the tires so that the over spray will peel right off

I took them out . you can also see the bag around the brake rotor, make sure those are covered good, and also make sure the bag are not touching the back of the wheel as in the instructions

Thanks. I read on that.

Hey, what is your opinion if these wheels of mine get dip? I mean I have a feeling like it will look good if you have a thin spoke....but mine doesn't

They will look good in black, you will just need 4 cans. if you dont like it, then you can just peel it right off. but I believe you will love the look. make sure you dip the chrome trim on the door handles also
