550 Differential

I assumed since the 550 was not an "M" car, it had a conventional differential with electronic slip protection, then I read this page with a description of a "locking rear differential" Anyone know what's the spec on the differential?

I think it 's just like the 135i has: An electronic differential lock which doesn't brake one or another wheel(like the old systems) but helps the inside wheel from spinning, moving the power electronically to the outsidewheel more or less . I can't explain it better.

It's not like a 0-100% mechanical M diff.Not by a mile. But it works...a bit.

I guess mine has it too(535i F10) according to the iDrive display...
