So these are setup for use with an M5 diffuser, correct? The way the tips are set up I don't think they would line up properly with a 550 diffuser. Either way, nice job. Looks great.

I had quad tip M5 mufflers installed on my 550xi w/ the stock 550xi diffuser. Your muffler shop will need to modify the hanger to make it work with the 550 diffuser

Very nice. I was considering adding quad tips with stock mufflers as I am getting a new cf diffuser and don't want to trade an arm and a leg for new mufflers. Curious what the cost was to buy the tips and have them welded? Also, were the mufflers re-coated after the welding? They look really clean. Thanks.

Sent you a pm,
Yes the mufflers were cleaned & re-coated after the welding. The tips were $50 each plus the materials & the welding work cost me $400 all together plus taxes. Although they sounded pretty good with just a resonator delete, I now have a straight pipe setup it's a little too loud & drones a lot but I'm used to it now so I wanted to get rid of these mufflers & I don't do a lot of highway driving. Shipping is costing me $250 so I'm really taking a loss at selling them for $350 with shipping. Let me know if you are interested. Norris Quote:
