Probably a stupid question, but, I am going to ask it anyway. If a car has a salvage/rebuilt title and is under 4 years old with less than 50k miles; is it still covered by the original warranty (I suspect not)?

For those of you who have purchased cars with savage titles, what has your experience been, good or bad? Is it possible to buy an extended warranty if the car has a salvage title?

You'll be good until BMW finds out about the salvage title if they haven't already. After that they won't cover.

funny, I saw that seller selling a few 550s about a few months ago as well, he had a 2014 (N63TU) so well priced with low mileage, Was about to try to cop it and then realized it was salvage.

Weird you posted that. I drove that car last weak. You can't tell any damage was ever done to it, but I was told there is no warranty from BMW due to the title status. I was told that you can purchase an extended warranty though.
