2016 535d M Sport minimum wheel size?

So I have a new to me 2016 535d M Sport. The manual lists a 17" wheel size as an option, but I know that _sometimes_ the M Sport has a larger brake rotor.

Checking RealOEM shows a 348mm rotor, while looking at parts list for "any" 2016 535dX shows 330mm as an option.

So will a 17" rim fit around the 348mm rotor? Right now it has the 20" summer tires.

The reason I ask, I have a set of 17" rims that I could just buy new rubber for rather than buying a whole new set.

If no one knows, I'll probably go out and test-fit the rims I have in a few days. I just thought I'd check here first.

Yes, at least if you've got OEM wheels, only the 550 requires 18".

In looking at Rockauto's website, it seems that there is no difference between "M" and regular 535dx brakes: fronts are 348 mm while rears are 330 mm. Moreover, as remmib says, OEM 17's will fit. However, "OEM" is the operant word as there is only about 5 mm clearance between the 17" rim (BMW style 327) and the front brake caliper.

Hey JT8, I think I saw your car on AutoTrader. Black '16 M Sport in Barrie and the listing is gone. Was that your car?
