After about 3 weeks of ownership, I've got the 8 preset buttons set how I want them, with home and different audio options laid out for easy access. I explained to my wife how all of this works. The key things to her being selecting "Home" Navigation, and stoping my iPod playing "that crap I listen to".

However, when we took it out for her to get used to it (and used her key to unlock the car), all the presets are gone.

Makes perfect sense, and I can set in the car and reprogram everything to get her the same options. But if at all possible, I'd rather just sync her profile setting to match mine. Reading through the manual, I can see backup of profile, but no way to sync between keys. Does anyone know if this is possible?

You just have to go into iDrive and copy profile 1 to profile 2.
