Are ACS springs worth the money over others?
I am ready to get some lowering springs for my 2011 535i. The price on the ACS springs seem to be 50% greater than the competition (H&R and Eibach). I have read nothing but glowing reviews of the ACS springs. Maybe that should be reason enough for me not to second guess them; however, I know H&R and Eibach have been around for a while. I have had H&R springs in the past, and thought they were average at best.
Also, are there any new vendors selling the ACS springs at a better price? |

I've heard they are better but you don't get the drop that u would with h&r.
I just did KWV3 coilovers and was super worried about whether I would like them. Now that ive had them on for a couple days, I LOVE them. It's a night and day better ride. If I was u, I'd go coilovers

It doesn't matter which springs you get, anything is better than stock. People with 535 usually get the ACS springs. I just got my Dinan installed and it's a big difference, especially with ARS. I don't feel any body roll anymore.

I've had H&R, RD Sport Springs, and ACS which are now on my car. The ACS are almost as low as the H&R on my 550i -- too low, in my opinion. When I trade my car in the fall, I'm going to go with the Shockware from Dinan which will greatly firm up the suspension components. It should be about the same price as springs plus installation.

I'm also considering in purchasing ACS springs. Prior I wanted the KWs but them realize ill lose the EDC (electronic damping control) which I like. Overall, my main question before lowering the car is the alignment. Is there a camber kit out there? Or can the local alignment shop align it back to OEM specs?
Thanks

As far as the ride goes, the ACS are by far the best on the 550i. The H&Rs are the worst. The car rides very smooth, a lot lower with very little body roll in corners. My goal was to get the ride and height the same as my '08 550i M-Sport, but I only got the ride. It sits lower than my '08. As far as the alignment, I had mine checked, and it was within specs. I've had lowering springs on the car for 20K miles with no irregular wear.

I placed an order on a set of eibach springs for my 535i from autoanything on dec/31/2012, I was called back and told eibach has discontinue making the springs for the f10 535i. WTF? I haven't called Eibach and check.
