I'm in the process of upgrading my bus nav to pro. Can anyone tell me if it will give me extended voice commands as it only works for the phone book functions at the moment.
If I upgrade the whole head unit does it give me extended nav climate and audio voice commands?

I just did the retrofit you do now, but did not opt for the Nav voice commands as this requires a different FSC activation. To tell you the truth I don't think it is something you can't drive without. The pro Nav does come with the voice guidance though which is a different voice than the one used for the phone. Don't know what you mean by "extended nav climate".

Extended Climate control has extra features including dual zone air volume controls in conjunction with dual zone temperature controls and auto circulation.

Unfortunately dont believe upgrading the head unit will upgrade you to extended climate control as the normal climate control (from my understanding and pls correct me if im wrong) comes with only one blower whilst extended climate includes 3 internal blowers.

In my e60 I could control climate by voice command. I could also do the same with the nav. ATM the voice is useless as it only does phone. I'm going to throw a reverse camera in too and I'm curious as to where the OEM module is mounted. The camera is no problem, but the module is my concern. Bimmernav sorted my initial query and yes extended voice controll over nav and maybe climate will be available with coding.
