Ever since the F10 was officially unveiled to the world, the F11 has had most of its camo removed, for good reason. The shape and look of the car is known at this point. What is left is for BMW to put the finishing touches to the car and finish up testing in time for the official world premier of this car, later in the year in Paris.
The look of the touring/wagon (f11) compliments the sedan version nicely and goes for the ultra modern and sleek look. The rear end flows with the front nicely, and tapers in a smooth shape which will look more Dodge Magnum then Volvo wagon when all is said and done. This is a good thing! However, we don't expect there to be any records broken for hauling capacity. Look out for the car at the Geneva Autoshow in just a few months with official press release and photos at that time! *** Correction: The F10 Sedan will premier at Geneva and the F11 Touring will bow at the following Paris Autoshow |

^ yes...
5er GT = Crossover 5er Touring = Wagon Should sit lower, etc, etc. Think of the 5er GT as a Toyota Venza and the 5er wagon as a Camry Wagon, if they still made them...

Its funny we won't get this car because the NA market "doesn't like wagons." I recently talked to a CA about the GT (my wife really likes it), and was told that the GT won't do well here because the NA market "doesn't like hatchbacks." I waiting to be told that the NA market won't be getting the 5 sedan in stick because the NA market "doesn't like manuals."
Basically I love being told what to like. But it seems that I like everything that I'm not supposed to. At this point I wish I could order the old 5er wagon with stick. When do/did they stop manufacturing them? Very attractive wagon IMO. In the end I'll probably ED an M-sport 3er wagon...

This is a beautiful car. Dump the 535xi and give us the 535d to replace it.
