Talk about bad luck, sorry to hear that.

I'll state the obvious again, s.... happens, but as long as you and your family are fine, that's all it matters in the end, cars get fixed and/or replaced all the time.

Thanks guys, it hurts the car is banged up but I'm more annoyed the guy ran and I'm not 100% confident I got the plate right. Then again if he ran he might not have had insurance so it wouldn't me much of a difference.

One saving grace is the F10s ability to absorb and minimize any cabin damage. Everything is pretty much confined to the trunk and bumper areas. Quarter panels survived without any damage ESP since it was a large SUv that hit me both times. Impressive!

My baby is back home. Sunroof will not open which is odd as impact and repairs were in the rear. Still need to get that in to the dealer for a look.

Sunroof might need to be reset after disconnecting the power.

Try resetting the sunroof by

Push and hold the sunroof button up for at least 15 seconds until it completes its reinitialization process. Process is done when sunroof and sunshade are completely closed.

It did indeed need to be recalibrated. One thing about the procedure is the engine needs to be running.
