Got an email from BMW Ireland yesterday:

BMW Ireland wish to invite you and a guest to join us for a truly exclusive treat, a 5 star launch event to unveil and celebrate BMW’s latest ultimate drive.

Be among the very first to experience a brand new BMW that perfectly blends leading business styling with sporty, agile performance.[/I]

The date is the end of October... I wonder could this be for a sneak preview of the new G30, I don't think there are any other new models that fit this description being launched by BMW in this timeframe. Didn't get anything like this when the F10 appeared but as its not officially even launched, I wonder will they even have a model on display? Anybody else get something similar???

Got the same, judging by the date it can only be the G30 preview! I believe the new 5 will be present as it was done with new 7 series before general release.
I am going to the one in Athlon.

Hey Martinmustang, were you at a seven series event? What's the format and is there any real value apart from allowing BMW to try and make their customers feel a bit more special.....which is all fine until it comes down to the haggling of trying to get a good deal. Personally think it better to wait until G30 has been in the wild for a while so that any bugs are ironed out...and then seek out a nearly new at an attractive discount to list price.

No but few old 7 series owners in this forum did (British and north Americans), and posted photos of the new 7 before general release, I believe this is new and started with the 7 series!

Same on my side, nothing of this kind when waiting for the F10 coming from the E60, I also think they go after same model owners, my wife is currently owner of F25 X3, no invite on her side.
