It will probably be fine, but keep one thing in mind. If you use it and have a oil related failure during the warranty period, the company has a case against you because you used a non approved oil:
In the USA, the 3 most common and easily accessible motor oils that meet BMW Long-life rating LL-01 Approved Synthetic Oils for the US Market BMW High Performance Full Synthetic 5W30 (BMW P/N: 07 51 0 017 866) Mobil 1 0W40 European Formula Castrol Syntec European Formula 0W30 Also approved but harder to find: PENNZOIL ULTRA EURO 5W-40 FULL SYNTHETIC MOTOR OIL Pennzoil Platinum European Formula 5W-30 Valvoline SynPower MST 5W-40

Thanks fo the great Info, and I agree 100% that during the warranty period use their stuff which is not bad at all, was just that i have used amsoil on all my vehicles for the past 17 years, good stuff.
