Anyone had F10 535d chipped / tuned?

Has anyone had a 35d chipped or tune ? Any thoughts? Takes it to 340BHP and 680NM torque and 20% improvement on fuel economy.

Who's quoting those figures and is it a tuning box or an ECU re-map.
On a note of caution, I read elsewhere that on the first occasion the car goes into the dealer, BMW will know you've installed an unauthorised modification and your warranty will be compromised.
Don't know how much truth there is in that, but it makes sense from BMW's point of view.

I'm going to speak to my contact at BMW as I'm not convinced. Especially a tuning box.

I'll be very interested to hear what they say, especially about BMW detecting any modification.

Spoke to my contact and he hadn't had it confirmed to him that this was the case, however is digging deeper. First impression was that it was not likely, ecu remap obviously detectable with investigation.

The ecu logs any changes made to it - and its reported back when its plugged into the dealer system as part of any checks made as its a potential cause of issues to the running of the vehicle.

As someone who used to drive a remapped 330d - i waited until the warranty was over to remap it.

Id love to remap my 520 when it appears .. but the risk of voiding the warranty on a car which will prob have a recall at somepoint due to its 'newness' just isnt worth it at the moment.

I had it confirmed by a service manager at a BMW dealership that nothing has changed with the f10 to the previous e60
