Exhaust tips removable?

Hey guys,

I have a 535xi and I'm curious if the exhaust tips are removable and how?

Thank you in advance.

I dont think so, I believe they're tack welded on the inside. Were you planning on keeping the OEM exhaust system but just add new tips on?

Actually I was going to remove them and paint them black. I thought that would be easier instead of just covering the bumper. Thanks

Just pull it out. It's not welded.

Yeah albeit I found it much easier to remove them and paint them. I hate the prep work so I'm always looking for alternative ways to do the job
