Upgraded my ride to 2014 550xi M-Sport

Well, I picked up my first BMW about 18 months ago, but a few weeks ago it go totaled out. Had a 2011 535i (space gray), decided to step it up a little with my new (to me) car.

2014 550xi. Alpine white, black interior, but has a lot of options that I wanted: M-sport, x drive, executive package, cold weather package, Full LED adaptive headlights, HUD, sport trans, HK audio, premium, etc....42k miles, so still has a little bit of warranty left!
























Question, is it lower than normal for a x-drive? Or is that normal looking (245/45/19).

On the crappy side of it, I have a vibration around 70mph. Found that 2 of my rims are bent

I like the rims, but noticed the vibrations as soon as I got it on the interstate on the way home. Cheap fix though, ~$300 for both to get repaired, balanced, remounted.

I had some stuff done to my 2011. Had AR downpipe, JB4, intake. Liked that setup, simple and worked.

I had all intentions of going JB4 for this N63tu till Terry pissed all over us and pulled out of JB4 for this platform

Nice pick up! Did BMW fix the wheels or did you have to go somewhere else?

Thanks....nice to see another tuner on here (based on your SN). My cooler weather car (no AC) is 2002 RSX-S built turboed 2.4L, enough to hurt some feelings on the street

I havn't contacted BMW yet, doubt its covered, but I'll give it a shot.

Thanks. See your from Sweden, Volvo is building a big ass assembly plant here in SC. Supposed to bring a lot of jobs in.

Not to mention I live an hour from where they build all the X series BMWs (in Spartenburg, SC).

Yup! I use to have a DC2 JDM Conversion LSB20 Turbo Charged Integra back in my underground days lol! I knew you were an Acura guy when i saw the DC5 ID

Man those integras are so awesome, i drove a bunch of my friends, 1 was bone stock. Such a fun little car!

Too bad they are still hard to find un molested.

Also loved the last gen preludes!

Thanks guys.....here's a few pics of my other ride. I've built it all, in my garage, from the motor, to the trans, tuning, fabbed up all the IC piping/downpipe, etc...definitely a work in progress and has been a money pit for a long time

Latest plan is to upgrade the injectors and valve springs and turn up to hopefully in the 550-600whp range! Shooting for 130+mph traps in the 1/4...or enough to mess with some big boys on the street.

Nice! I sometimes think maybe i should pickup another DC2 and build it? I remember Golden Eagle manufacturing cracking 2 of my blocks i sent to them to have them bore and install ductile sleeves to handle more boost without using those crappy block guards back in the day. I too dropped stupid money into the DC2. it just kept adding up from the Crower Rods, JG Pistons and and crank blue printed and balanced to having JG port and polish the head as well as upgrading to titanium valves and retainers. It never ended especially when it came to the engine management. Lol those were the days when all my paycheck would go into the car without thinking. Top ramen was my diet!
