Dealer told me on Monday that my F11 has now completed in the paint shop at the factory. It was due to be delivered to the dealer's week beginning 13th Sept which is next week, so that's looking pretty unlikely now. Dealer reckons last week in Sept delivery is realistic, but trying to get it sooner. So much for picking it up on the launch day

Mine was production complete, but awaiting transportation on Saturday. Dealer said this normally takes 10 -14 days. Let's hope they are going to rush them over to UK ready for the official launch date on Saturday.

My F11 535d M Sport was completed Week 36 and should be deliverered last week of September.
Sounds like they could all be on the boat together. (I presume they travel by train/boat to UK - anyone know for sure?)

I remember when my E92 came the dealer just kept saying that his system showed "production complete". And then 5 days before the official delivery date, the car was being rolled off the lorry in the uk!! So i think you could see that car arriving at the dealer middle of next wk!

Also, when you were told production has started was it at the beginning of the week? or mid week? I am asking because I am week 37 build (which is now) but production has not yet begun. However, I am assuming that production may start during week 37 and not necessarily right at the beginning of it?

I am week 37 and production started at the end of last week, currently in teh paint shop. scheduled to be completed on 9/15

I have a week 41 production and delivery in week 45, starting 8 November.

I read in another thread that BWM has received lots of orders for the F11, mainly 520d's, and that some markets can expect their first F11's to be delivered in early 2011.

I placed my order already in April but originally wanted a 525d when my sales rep told me it would be available. As the 525d wasn't in the ordering system my sales rep made the order as a 530d for the time being.

I then got undecided and changed my order to a 520d in August. For some reason then it wasn't possible to change a 530d to a 520d in the ordering system so the sales rep had to take the next available 520d that they had ordered for the dealership stock and make that into my order. Thus over a months delay from the original delivery time.

Cool maybe, but since it wouldn't sell more cars, would we all pay more money for our cars to have it? I say pack more stuff into the car that we will enjoy everyday!

No, latest on my F11 from the system is a 7th Oct delivery to the dealer, which is 1 - 2 weeks later than I expected, which is disappointing

Delivery of mine has slipped from week 39 to week 41.

Dealer says it still may arrive this week but I think he's just trying to make me feel better...

Mine was due end of this month. Now looking like a week later, although the status is still showing 'assembled'

So mine is week 40 delivery now. Let us know if yours comes sooner. And yes, I think he is trying to make you feel better!

The dealer had planned for delivery for week 40. Talked to them yesterday and it looks like I have to wait one week longer for my 523i.

I too have a delivery date for the same day but no specific time as of yet!

My F11 is due at the dealers on Monday now. Picking it up on Friday

Apparently the F11 roofbars are not available yet, so I'm going to have to wait a while for them
