Bubbled Tire upon Loaner Car Return
Anyone ever have a dealer accuse you of a bubbled tire? If so, what result?
Did you have to pay for it out of pocket, did your wheel and tire insurance cover it or did the dealer let it slide? Thanks. |

Sounds like a lot of bad luck lately! Never happened to me, but a good dealer shouldn't be making that accusation. Just my opinion. Even IF it was caused by you (hardly believe they carefully track tire conditions on loaners with each use), you're a customer... It's not like you put a scratch in the car. Tires are wear and tear... they should suck it up as a cost of doing business and doing the right thing for a customer. I'd personally be offended they could even bring this up considering the BS you're going through with your car.

Sounds like a load of crap. If they're run flats, they're prone to bubbling.
I agree with ezmass, there is NO way they check tire wear and tear after each loan. Some technician probably saw the bubble and decided you were the lucky guy they'd blame for it. |
