Hey guys, I posted this in the f80 and f82 forum, I'm a f10 guy so wanted to share this with my fellow brothers...

Saturday night in uptown Charlotte NC, I ran into a pack of F80 and F82 Ms. They had just left a event in SC at the Michelin HQ. This was a really clean group of Ms, highly modified. I remember seeing the //Mvasion car. So yesterday evening I see the following.... On their way back to PA, looks like some spirited driving took place, to say the least.....

These guys were staying at the hotel last night at my job here at the arena.... this happened today

IMO they got what they deserved if they were really doing 100+ mph on public roads.

They will spend bunch of $$$ on lawyers and get their cars back and hopefully get some of the charges reduced.

Lesson learned the hard way.

The drivers were idiots AND EXTREMELY inconsiderate! They got (and will get) what they deserve!

On the other hand, that idiot cop ought to be FIRED and charged with endangering the public, reckless driving and anything else they can find! He was more of a danger than any of the BMW drivers.

I'd bet the owners are fit to be tied. I'd be furious. I attended the first year of that MVASION event when it was held at BMW of Chattanooga about 7 years ago IIRC. I got a nice caravan together on drive up - things got a little out of a hand, but not like this.

Holy shitballs.... that cop was absolutely the stupidest in this entire situation!!

I get people think doing 100mph is "dangerous".... only if the relative traffic was going at a severe difference in speed.... and as mentioned before, I'm certain these guys maybe did some pulls, but I'll bet they were not endangering the public to the extent they are reporting!

To be honest...100mph is literally a few seconds from any highway speed limit in Atlanta. Average speed here is 80+... and that includes cars that you would cringe at the maintenance.

I see news vans rolling 90mph and then report some BS story about speeders when there's a slow news week.... I would love to know what exactly transpired there.
