OEM gloss vs matte black grille

I know this is a matter of taste but I can't decide which to order. The OEM gloss black or the matte black aftermarket grille? Not sure how durable the aftermarket ones are also. This would be going on an alpine white 535i with shawdowline trim. Of course the OEM grille would be a perfect match to the shawdowline but I was thinking the matte ones would flow better with the front lower mesh grilles in bumper. Which one is better?

matte to match the front. I have the OEM gloss and it pops a little to much for my taste but I still love it!

I got the OEM gloss black grills to match my shadowline trim.

I don't like that the grill doesn't match the lower mesh so I was thinking about painting the lower black inserts on my M-sport bumper to match.

Has anyone done this?

I think that a complete "shadowline" or "black gloss" trim would look really sharp and would add good contrast to lighter colored cars. It would also bring out the aggressiveness of the M-sport bumper.

I went with the OEM gloss black grills because it matches the shadowline trim.

Matching shadowline ftw. Going OEM when my car arrives.
