2012 528xi
Hello all!
I just signed for a 528xi yesterday! I'm excited to be coming back to the BMW family... which in retrospect I should have never left!! But it's all good now! I have a couple quick question for anybody that might be able to help!! 1. My dealer kept assuring me that the 528xi now comes with standard dakota leather at no charge. Is this true?? I see on all brochures, websites, etc... that it's leatherette. 2. BMW's brochure shows the car comes with 245 R18 tires, but the website shows 225 R17 tires. Anybody know for sure which they come with? 3. What's the main difference between the comfort seats and regular seats? Just a few more power options and bolsters, etc? But the comfort is essentially the same? Thanks in advance guys! |

standard seat is Leatherette. You will have to choose/pay for premium pkg option ($3900) to get dakota leather.
PREMIUM PKG -inc: auto open/close trunk w/pinch protection, comfort access w/smart opener, rear view camera, through loading system, driver & front passenger 4-way pwr lumbar support, Dakota leather upholstery Code: ZCM Comfort seat option add another $1000 and you will have to select premium pkg at the same time to get this. the xdrive does come with 245/45/18 tires. Thanks for the info!
I'll have to go back to the dealership to verify this. The dealer did mention that the change just happened recently and all new 528xi are manufactured with the Dakota leather; not even the systems were updated to reflect this. |
