They settled a little, but not hardly enough to tell. Here are a few pics.

Vin, your RD 550i seems lower than my H&R 528i.
Your car is so sparkling clean, bro. Wash it often?

It is lower than yours on H&R's. I couldn't believe how much lower mine was with H&Rs compared to yours. Mine was on the ground with the H&Rs. That's why I asked you if you had lowered it already because it didn't look like it had been lowered.
Thanks. I haven't washed it in a few weeks. It's pollen season here and there's no need to wash as it will be yellow the next day. |

Lovely Wheels
[QUOTE=Vinfast;8948120]I finally got my 550 mostly like I want it. This is my first time modifying a $70k plus car, but I'm pretty satisfied.
Here's the list. 20" M6 style wheels from **********s.com -- Talk to Alan -- very helpful. 245/35/20, 285/30/20 Michelin PS2s. H |

Vin, I have the titanium silver 550i m-sport and have admired the setup you have been so graciously shared with the group. What is your overall impression of the RD springs? Did the "bounce" go away on highway dips? I have, of course, adaptive drive as well.

I like them much better than the H&Rs I had. There is no more bounce, but like I've told several other members, the front end still seems a little too soft when hitting bigger dips in the road, but since I'm not an expert on springs, and no expert is in the car with me, I don't know if the culprit is the softer OEM struts, or the rebound spring rate on the springs. Everyone I've spoken with that has ACS springs love them, but most of them have 535s so I don't know if it's just the extra weight of the 550i or if the ACS spring rate is better than the RDs. I wish I knew someone who lives close to me who has a 550 on ACS springs to tell the difference, or even if there is a difference. I could try just putting ACS on the front if they would sell them separately --- probably NOT SOLD SEPARATELY! Maybe next car in 2.5 years will try all ACS.
I just had 10mm spacers put on the front, and it looks SOOOO much better with the front wheels being flush with the fender. THANKS Rob for the advice!!! Will post more pics with the spacers when I get a chance. |

Thanks Pal. I"LL try to find out more about the acs springs before pulling the trigger. RD sport springs are out of stock at Jlevisw.com. 10 weeks estimated time to get them in. Can't find them anywhere in stock.

Here are a few pics after I had 10mm spacers put on the front to get it more flush with the fenders. Looks SOOOOO much better than being tucked too far under the fenderwell.

Wow man.. honestly I loveeee black sedans but the upkeep here in Canada is just ruthless especially in winter. Stunning .. the 20 M6 rims are a perfect touch!

Looks great with the spacers.
I guess the fronts are 20x8.5 ET35?
