How Long Did You Car Wait At Port For A Ship???

How long did you car sit at port waiting for a ship? Darn car was finished 7-6-11 and I think it may just be shipping out today (seven days later). Is it common for a car to just sit at port for a week waiting for a ship to set sail?

I'm envious of everyone who lives in the continental us. Ordering a BMW and living in Hawaii sucks. Turn around is usually 2.5 to 3 months

I remember when I ordered my Mini in December 2007 the wait was the longest 2 months of my life. I even tracked the little bugger when he was on the ship. Got freaked out when the ship reported 6 meter swells!
