Center screen is small because it doesn't look like the car has Navigation or Head Up Display, but it does have Night Vision.

That ashtry/lighter in the cupholders is bizarre. There also appears to be 2 different trims in the car, what looks like Piano Black around the shifter/iDrive controller, Aluminum on the dash and doors.. I am not liking the large drawer however. It makes it so the climate controls are blocked when the cupholder is in use and takes up valuable space in the center stack. Why do we need this? Sticks out like a sore thumb.

But the car is GORGEOUS !!!!!

I'm guessing no Navi is the reason for the smaller screen. This is how the screen appears in the X5 (one without Navi).

my big question is whether or not the car is still on its shipping blocks?

My M3 didn't come with a spare (and doesn't have run-flats either). It came with a "mobility kit" which is essentially tire sealant and an electric pump. Anything more than a small puncture and I'm SOL until a tow truck arrives. I'll bet the GT has the same set-up. Probably what's in that BMW bag in the trunk.

Ummmm....people...yea it's gonna grow on us because lets face it, the front looks like a car and everwhere else it's updated to the fullest...but to me, it's still a pointless design with that lazy looking slouched back. It's not what BMW stands for and these designs are getting in the way of BMW creating real sports cars. Cancelled 4 door Coupe, M3 CSL, supercar, etc. So stop applauding for them because these types of designs are what I would expect Toyota to do, not BMW!

it's just like how i felt when i first saw the x6. in my mind, i was asking why BMW design it that way. It has such an ugly rear! now i've realized the beauty of it, it's my dream SAV/SUV ever since. it's just like this one.... it doesn't look good at first but as you get used to seeing it... man, it really grows on you! Good job BMW!

the front 3/4 view (where you cant realy see the back to well) gives a very nice impression of what the 5 series sedan will look like, and from the shape of things that car is going to be drop dead sexy. I cant wait!!

We received a call from BMW stating that we were the first to see the 2010 GT in the flesh. BMW is not ready to show this vehicle to the media or the public yet, and since we are good friends with BMW we decided it was best to remove the photos until they're ready to show this exciting new model.

We are sorry if this inconvenienced anyone. A few of us here are happy to speak to prospective customers about the car, since we do have a little hands-on knowledge about it now

It's funny, because I really like the X6 so I liked this car at first. But I'm having the opposite reaction to it from a lot of you guys. The more I look the uglier it gets.

Sorry, but I think BMW missed the boat.

nice looking car and i have to admit that i did not like it when i first saw it. but come on BMW, we need a pure sports car, like a csl version of the m3 or imagine a csl m version of the new Z4.

It is so strange how almost every BMW design nowadays makes you first feel a bit disappointed but then especially when you see the cars in real life, you start falling in love with them. I think 5 GT is one of the best examples of this.
+1 here too, i went through the same phase when i saw E60/F01 for the first time

The exterior side view reminds me of a long nosed SAAB. looks better in these photos but I cant get over the "chromed" rear boot trim and the tail light alignment. look odd or off to me. Other than that the exterior lines are pretty nice.
