Yes, sunroofs are an option here in Europe, but here in Norway most f10 has it. I chose not to order it, cause I never had a car with sunroof.

Not feeling it. Makes the car look a bit on the "KIA Optima" side of things.
I like the look on sport wagon Audi's with fuller glass roof's like the 3 series wagon.

On cars themselves, no so much.

Had this on my first 2004 audi allroad.The roof was actually painted flat black and was aluminum itself. they did this to save weight. It served a purpose.

if you like the look, I'd say get flat black.

I saw a company making real CF roofs for the m5 which should fit the F10 but it does not.have a hole for the sunroof. but I am sure a good shop can fix that with a cut and fine sanding since the sun roof sits on top of the roof. should look good. also I could live with out it but, I never really use it but once gone I will Miss it.

I saw that somewhere about the carbon fiber roofs for the M5 awhile back but really...how much weight reductions are you really saving? Especially on a daily driver. Now I totally see getting it done before build like I see in the M3/M4 forums when they place their orders but not after a car is already done. But for aesthetics I think wrapping it in carbon fiber vinyl is just fine

Don, which wrap do you use? I'm use di-noc CA-421. I'm having issues with the inside corners around the cup holder opening. It gets hot in Texas and the wrap shrinks and flips up on the interior corners. The outside corner on the cup holder cover is ok. I even used the primer (94).

I was speaking about the black roof on a white car.
REAL CARBON on those cars saves weight.

I suppose carbon wrap on a few bits is ok if there are real carbon parts elsewhere. Just an opinion.

Funny, I just ordered some precut 3m carbon wrap for my 6 year old MacBook pro I am putting some performance mods on. Totally for look!

I've seen dozens of guys use black vinyl on AW's and I think it looks pretty damn good! It's all really for pure aesthetics

I think gloss black suits AW BMW and Benz cars a lot better than that Kia.
