Buy now?
I'm looking to do an individual build for a 535d xDrive. Any pointers on negotiating deals? I've seen some threads where it sounds easy to get 12% off MSRP. Is that a common experience? Any tips?
Thanks! Last edited by 35mphgolf; 09-01-2016 at 06:14 AM.. |

I just ordered (UK) a new Individual 535D M Sport in Moonstone with Cashmere Beige Merino leather, all extras.
I got 30% OFF, so 12% a bit of a joke. This is the end of run 5 series so should be LARGE discounts.

I imagine dealer incentives were involved? How much incentive was from BMW (not the dealer)? And does it really matter if you buy from the lot vs. order an individual that has to be built? I'm looking at either 79k or 83k (w/ B&O). What's a realistic number I can shoot for here in the States? 67k? |

I would guess that there's going to be significantly less room to negotiate if you go with individual order Vs. something that's on the lot and needs to go. Especially given it's the end of the cycle, discounts on cars dealers have in stock should be significant.
