I spend the Dinan tax for peace of mind in that you have a factory matched warranty. Worth every penny. |

None of those above tunes carry a warranty. If you are going to tune your $75k-$80k 550i, I would highly recommend Dinan. Huge power increase, peace of mind that comes with a warranty, and lots of stages and other goodies. JMO. |

That does not matter...they will still know that you were modded...especially if something goes wrong and they run diagnostics. Dinan FTW, unless you dont care about warranties.

Does anyone know which of Harness Type A or Type B is for the F10s?
The site asks for a picture of the engine bay but my F10 is in the shop so.. If anyone knows please shed some light. |

Dinan if you like throwing money in the air. Their numbers are based off crank, not wheel.

Sucks! I just got the N63 JB Beta but it is the wrong harness for my F06....
Emailed Terry and haven't gotten a response yet. Can I just replace the harness? PS. 2013 F06 650i is type B

I have the Dinan S3 (w/ exhaust). I'm intrigued by this tune though...
I wonder what would happen if you plugged this tuner to a car that has the Dinan software on it already. I'd think that if all the software just goes back to the way it was before you plugged this tune in, you'd be able to try it out, compare it, then unplug it and still have your Dinan in tact. |

Too much power with IAS.....
I put on a TMC tune on the 650i GC while waiting for the correct harness for the JB to arrive.....
One question though, the TMC tune also worked well but wondering if any one of you have a tune beyond 500hp+ on a car with IAS? I put in the TMC tune which is supposed to give 80-100Nm more torque. When I floor the car past 4.5K rpm, the rear end of my GC gets VERY wobbly, which did not happen before the tune....... I turned down the gain of the TMC box a tad (from position 6 to position 4) and the rear is more stable..... Can it be too much power for the car with IAS to handle?
