Drivetrain Malfunction Cold Weather

hi there

got the malfunction light a couple days recently. happens when it is cold outside and for some reason only if i rev the car hard. the driveline (feels like axle or diff) makes a weird hopping vibration when I get this light. goes away and operates just fine if i restart the car. havent bothered to get the car scanned yet but im pretty sure it is my battery since I am nearing 70k because everything is operating well.

when the car is fully warmed up (obviously) and i redline it, I dont get the light as long as it is not too cold outside.

Cold weather usually exposes weak components on the car like plugs, ignition coils, injectors and fuel pump
