F10 new wheels advice

I am thinking of changing my 18" 350m alloys on my F10 to 20" 3SDM 0.001 alloys with non runflat tyres. Has anyone had any good or bad experiences or have any advice on if this is a good or bad move ?
Thanks in advance guys.

20 will look good but the ride/comfort may suffer depending on your local road condition, such as potholes, uneven roughness of road, etc.

The bigger the wheels, the thinner the sidewall and having RF does not help either.

I changed from 19" 351's to 20" 356's both with run flats and found a big drop off in ride comfort. Constantly looking at the road for potholes, but love the look of the wheels so glad i bought them. however, I'll be looking to change to non-run flats once the tyres run down in the next 6 months.

So if its looks you want get 20's, but if its comfort you want, keep the 18's.

I'm not one for big rims as comfort comes first, so 18" wheels for me.

When I first tried an F10 535i it was on 19" wheels, which were plenty firm enough, even on good roads. The sales guy informed me they had bought in a set of 20" for the car and had them fitted. The first customer to test drive the car with them fitted, came back into the garage saying, if that is what an F10 drives like it is a terrible car. Not believing it could be so different to the 19", the senior sales guy went out and tried it, having driven it on the 19". He came back and said exactly the same, the 20" had completely spoiled the drive. They removed them immediately.

I changed from 19 351 to 20" vossens to non rft and its been roughly the same comfort wise, also I find that the it's a little softer over the bumps this is probably due to the non rfts as I think the stiff tyre walls play a huge part in the firm ride, but I love the way they look

Thanks for the advice guys. I have ended up going for a set of 19" 345m M5 wheels which are fronts 265/40/19 and rear 295/35/19 with all round non runflat Michelin pilot super sport tyres. I was a bit worried at first that they wouldn't fit but they fit perfect and look very aggressive. The ride comfort has actually been improved and should get even better when I get it in for 4 wheel laser tracking tomorrow !
