Driver Profiles

Anyone actually copied a profile from, say, a 5-series to a 1-series? How does it handle things like seat and mirror settings? Does it have some clever mapping between cars to account for the different physical dimensions or does it ignore that stuff and just do radio settings etc?

In a word, no ,but I have tried looking at the file to see what's in there.
It's all encrypted and I've not been able to read it , I've looked at Esys to see if that might do the job but no luck.
it list the firmware level although according to other forums, that info is not necessarily accurate.
