2011 535i xDrive axle boots.
Hey everyone, first time poster...
I took my 535i xDrive in to an Import shop today to have them check the alignment because my tires are balding on the outer edges on the front tires... Sure enough I do need an alignment... as well as new tires. They also found something interesting... my BMW has torn axle boots on both the front sides. My question is.. they are NOT making noise yet, and the guy said as long as they aren't I can just replace the boot.... Is this correct? Its 150 for the boots and 900 for labor... plus taxes and all that... BMW wants 1600 to do the repair... |
