Lightbulb Help from Wheel & Tire experts please!

My car is a 2013 535 Xi with M Sport style 351M 19" wheels (not staggered). Currently has the all season Goodyear eagle tires. I live in Denver where we have fairly mild winters, with an occasional big snowstorm. I have had many 3 series xi cars, and always used the all season's in the winter with no problem--but this car seems like it might corner and stop better in the winter with dedicated snows. Summer might also be more fun with summer tires. I'm all for getting a 2nd set of wheels, but I do really like how the car looks with the 351M wheels.

I'm looking for help understanding some options.

Option 1
BMW dealer recommends 17" (I think style 327) with 225/55 Dunlop run flats.
Approx $2100 mounted/balanced TPMS etc. I think this would be very functional, but I'm not sure I'll like the look for 5-6 moths/yr

Option 2
Aftermarket Wheels in 17,18 or 19" with a mind numbing number of choices

Option 3
Buy a used set of 18 or 19" BMW wheels--many for sale on this forum.

Some questions for the experts:
There is a set of 351M wheels and tires for sale on the forum that are 19" staggered with summer tires off of a 640i. Will they work as summer's on my x-drive car? If so, I could buy snow tires and mount them on my current non-staggered wheels. What are the advantages/disadvantages of staggered wheels?

Would 18" snows be better?
Would any number of the 18" BMW styles available in the for sale section of this forum fit the car? Would I need spacers or anything?
Do you have to do anything special when changing over wheels of different sizes? other resetting the TPMS?

Any & all opinions are welcome! Thanks in advance

I purchased a set of 351's (non staggered) with TPMS and Birdgestone Blizzaks just because I hated the stock 17" wheels my non m-sport 528 came with. It's a lease and I refuse to hate the way my car looks for half the life of it. Now I'm happy all year round with my 20" M5 reps in the summer/spring and part of fall and the 351's for winter. I'd stick to f10 wheels tho, I'm not sure the 640 wheels will work as the offsets may be a tad more aggressive tho I could be wrong. Plenty of 351 sets to be had for reasonable prices. Hope this helps!

All F10 and F12, F13 (6 series) OEM wheels will fit your car. I see no problems with OEM staggered wheels as the xdrive models here comes with staggered wheels.

Thanks Remmib. Good info. You seem very knowledgeable about this. What if anything would I notice different driving on the staggered set-up?

You probably wouldn't notice much difference, but it does give your car a more aggressive look, with the wider, meatier tires on the rear. The most important thing is that your front and rear tires have the exact same rolling diameter (or within a very small % difference). Your car cannot recognize the width of your wheels/tires, but X-drive does not like different diameter tires.

If you have mild winters in Denver and like the look of 351M's, you can opt to pick up a staggered set for summer/spring/fall use and buy winter tires for your non-staggered set. Lots of owners go that route. I actually have a set of staggered 351M's for sale. Shoot me a PM if you are interested. Hope this helps.
