2016 F10 should I fix or Trade?
I had a valve cover gasket that needed replaced at 54k miles and when they got in there they found the Timing chain, engine mounts (both sides), temp sensor, and a small crack in one of the wheels. They will do the timing repair at 80% covered for good faith based on the age of the car and the known issues, but my question is it worth it on a car this young and low in miles. $2,400 in costs versus trading the car in and going to a 2018 540. the advantage to a trade is going from a 528 to a 540 so more power. Looking for feedback when things start to go wrong under 60k is that the tip of the iceberg. Comments and advice is appreciated.

Lots of factors involved specific to each vehicle but 60K is a little early for these. My past experiences usually has me keeping a close eye on wear&tear items after 80K, but I would not be overly worried about some occuring at 60K (small crack in one wheel is damage not wear&tear). If I was still excited every time I got in the car, I would also do a little research and see if anything else could be changed out at the same time. Or just get them to do the timing chain and find an Indie to do the rest.
