So you can't show those vids as proof?

They're videos of all the same wheel.

Not sure; I plan to send to Safe-Guard.

Why must everything be so difficult!?

Dealer just installed four new wheels (rims) and tires, but I still feel some vibration; once at lower speed and again and continuing at higher speed. It’s weird, but sometimes I don’t feel it at all and sometimes it’s there (but minor).

The wheels were supposed to be new, but I feel the color is a very minor shade different from before (as minor as can be).

Is there any way to tell if my wheels were not replaced and were repaired / refinished instead? If not repaired / refinished, I suppose the color difference is a slight manufacturing variation?

And, aside from putting the car on a lift, is there any way to tell from the symptoms whether the vibration is bad balancing or if a wheel is still bent? Bringing the car back to the dealer this week, but would like insight.

Thank you very much.

U pay for the protection but they still manage to tell u you're out of luck. That's what they told me. Even tho they have no proof that a pothole caused the bubble on the side they claim that "u must've hit a pothole...we don't cover that!" What the point in paying $$$$$ for tire protection when really there's no protection?

Oh...and if I replace the tire not purchased from BMW my warranty is void. I told them I can save almost $150 bucks if I order from TireRack.com same tire and they said no!

I know this is an older thread, but I am buying OEM M5 wheels for my 550xi and was wondering if it possible to buy wheel and tire protection plan after the car is already purchased? I did not buy the plan on my OEM 19" wheels and tires as the dealer wanted $2500 for 3 years.
