Hi Remmib, thanks for chiming in. But the OP in an earlier post said he would have gone for a 20 et as it will fit in better. I know he has 25 now, is he mistaken?

He says he has ET25, but Vertini says they only offer these wheels in ET20 and ET35 right, so something doesn't add up. So he might actually have the ET35.

Getting the ET 20 to try. Another week of waiting. I will upload photos when installed and fitted. Thanks @remmie and @valbmw

Yes the wheels sink in further with the +25 offset which I know that I have. That's what I purchased. Vertini has the option for custom offsets. It took me two weeks to get my wheels.

They make them pretty quick and have a large amount of different offsets and patterns in stock. Like I said the 20 offset will sit in more so they won't hang out of the fender.

Sit in more than what? Out of the offsets we're talking about here, ET20, ET25 and ET35, the ET20 will be the most aggressive and will sit out the most.

I said in the beginning that there may be something different with my car. I had 35 offset in the beginning and they stuck way out of my fender.

I have 25 now and it sits flush and it sits in further than the 35 I had on my car a little over a month ago. At this point I'm just waiting to see what they look like on his car when he gets them.

Assuming the widths of the wheels were the same, that is simple not possible.

If the width of the wheels are the same, a ET25 wheel will sit 10mm more out/aggressive than a ET35 wheel, that's just a fact.

I understand that but the assumption of the wheels being the same width is not a correct assumption. The Targas were 20x8.5 and RF1.1's are 20x9 in the front. The RF1.1's are also half an inch wider in the back too.
Good point though. I didn't mention that the wheels are wider than the Targas but since we weren't talking about them I didn't.

So the ET35 wheels were even narrower than the the ET25 wheels, that's makes it even worse.
For an ET35 wheels to sit out more than an ET25 wheel, the ET35 wheel would have to be 1 inch wider than the ET25 wheel.

That's the other caveat. I told discount tire (where I ordered the rims through) that I thought the specs were off on the Niche Targas because I was not happy with the fitment at all. They said that the fronts were 20x8.5 and 35eft but the wheel hung outside of my fender about half an inch...

So when all the drama finished with the Targas I ended up ordering the RF1.1's and they said that they would order the wheels in 20x9 with 25 eft to make them sit inside of the fender more... The paperwork even shows that they are eft25 unless somehow they are really 35eft maybe the inside of the wheel might tell me for sure.?

Sounds like those Targa wheels wasn't ET35, but much lower.
Looking that the pics in this thread, I don't doubt the Vertini wheels are ET25 in the front.

20ET on the way for the fronts. We will put this to rest then. It's kinda confusing I know but let's wait and see what it looks like on my car. Worst case scenario I will be 1/2 a cm sticking out than yours or 1/2 cm in.
What OP is saying goes against everything I've read about ETs etc but we will see. I will get them installed on Monday.

Wheels were mounted this morning and they were hella pokey.

I didn't even try the back ones as its the fronts that were questionable. So they are gonna get shipped back to the dealer.

Man. Was that 45eft on the rear also?
My rear wheels are cambered a lot more than yours are it looks like.
The store manager at discount tire who worked my wheel order swore that the 25eft would make my wheels sit in more which in my case it did. He said that going with the 25, 20 etc would sit them in more.
One question though. When was the last time you had an alignment?

The local wheels/tyres guy said that the offsets were too low at ET20 for the fronts

yeah i have the ET45 (20 x 10.5) at the rear but didnt bother installing them yet as its the fronts that are questionable.

I think ET35 or 30 in front will be the ideal but since officially the wheels come in 35 or 20 i will go with the 35et as 20et is not the right fitment.

Fitted all the wheels and moved the car a bit to see if it was just error of parallax with the fronts.

IMO its sticking out with the ET 20s

Rears are perfect

I think they stick out a little bit but it's better than what I had on the Niche Targa M131's which were 35eft.
I thought you were going to send them back? Vertini does custom offsets too. I don't know where that came from about them not doing that but it's not true.
Either or I think it looks good but if you wanted them totally in the fender then you definitely didn't get that.

I live in Europe and not sure if they have custom offset facilities here. Yeah I mounted all 4 to make sure I'm not making any error.
And the rim shop is closed for summer holidays so they are still with me.

Beautiful set-up

Wow-That looks sharp.

I am looking at Vertini, same color right now for my black M340i right now.

You still happy with these wheels?

Cheers
