F10 535 with M5 343M. My New Rims for Summer - Must. Dodge. Potholes.

I was running Beyern 20" Mesh rims for a couple years and had all sorts of problems. I managed to bend all four of them (because they are literally made out of butter) and needed something else. Something stronger. Something that would give me the OEM+ look i'm after. So, after a few months of looking and debating between Vossen CV4's, MORR VS8.2's, and OEM 343M rims, I decided to pull the trigger. Let me know what you guys think.

Specs:
OEM 343M rims with Bridgestone Potenza RE 760 Sport's
Front 20x9 ET34 245/35/20
Rear 20x10 ET34 285/30/20

Thanks a lot. Nah, no spacers and perfectly flush front and back. I've driven under load too and no rubbing either.

Looks great
Love the M5 wheel
You could easily run an 8mm spacer up front for a less tucked look on the front

Thank you! I think I'm cool with the look up front and have had some vibration issues with spacers in the past so I'll probably just leave it as is.

Do you have springs or factory ride hight? The car looks like it sits perfectly! my one concern with putting these wheels on my 550xi M sport is that I will have unsightly wheel gap...

It's all factory man. No aftermarket springs or spacers of any kind. I thought the same before I installed mine and really didn't want to put springs on. Really happy the way they turned out.

One note though: if you get OEM 343M wheels for your 550, you will need some small spacers in the front to clear your brake calipers. I think 3mm ones will do the trick.

Your car looks perfect.
How much of a gap is there in the front and back, between the fender and the tire
I have the same rims with the 245 PSS upfront on my 535 xdrive and I can stick 4 fingers between the front fender and tire. Could it be because I still have the 295 tire in the back? (285 is on order)

I don't think the 295's in the rear have anything to do with the front gaps. I saw that you're about to install ACS springs so with a 285/245 setup, you will be all set. Won't rub and will look perfect in my opinion. Let me know how it turns out.

Yeah, I do like the 285 in the back. Waiting for the tire order to come in.

As for the 245 in the front... does it look like the 245 is a little more stretched than the 285 in the back?

I'm considering using a 255 upfront. To make the front and back stretch look the same, also to protect the rim just a little more.

Hoping that the 255 will still be OK with the ACS springs.

Hmm, you may want to do some research about the 285/255 combo. Since you have an x-drive, you want to have very close rotational diameters front and rear. That's why 285/245 is such a popular combo. I don't think the stretch is noticeable at all on mine. That might depend on the tire too.

Here the xDrive actually comes with 245/275 staggered wheels and tires if you have the m-sport package.

Interesting since the 245/275 (19") staggered setup on X-drives here has a 0,5% difference f/r. A 245/285 (20") staggered setup only has 0,07% difference f/r...

A 255/285 (20") setup has around 1% difference f/r, allmost twice of the OEM 245/275...

The question is: will the 285 rub when lowered with ACS springs on 2012 F10 535 xdrive.

Don't want to give you misinformation but I don't think it will. I have 285s and they do not rub under load. With ACS springs, your camber should tuck the top of the wheel in giving you a bit more clearance. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
