I got mine from ebay, very happy with them. Gloss Black, they are now $59. I paid $65 from the same seller, must have dropped the price!

[oops, you're looking for dual slat]

$98 for these, they look pretty good: http://www.ebay.com/itm/M5-STYLE-PIA...hVYoSS&vxp=mtr

Got mine from RW Carbon for $140. Prefer to buy from a "company" in case I need to return, exchange their product. Check their site, super easy to use. Fitment was about 97%. Don't expect 100% from any product, your bumper may have flexed slightly over time. Pick up some double sided tape to wrap the insert clips if needed. I think I had to do one of mine like that to get a snug OEM look. Post some picks when you get a set with a review. Old grills are easier to pull if you run the car up to temp and let the front bumper warm up.

I got ebay ones, since they are all the same pretty much... got them for 70$ shipped and arrived within one week. I got the LCI M5 ones, chrome outter lip with black inside, Fitment was 99% I do have an aftermarket Msport bumper.

I've had them for a little over 6 months and they have held up really good, dont get me wrong they do "feel" cheap (plastic like) but they have hung there without any issues at all and look great.

Here is the seller,

I like them, but... Does the little "M5" badge on the front come off? Or did you just paint over it?

Hi, I am interested in these black grilles for my '16 535i msport..

I would like to mimic the look of the black grill that gets port installed on f10 if you order from factory.. Is that close to matte or gloss?

Also any pointers on the size of torx screw driver needed to be move the cover to get access to the grille clips..

Thanks!

Just Yank that *itch with authority! No need to remove any torx screws. There is a DIY if you look in that section

No need to use a torx screw driver! Just reach in with your hands. Start with more pressure on the outermost grills. Pull with some good pressure and it will pop out. When they come loose move your hands towards the inner side of the grills and work some pressure and they will pop out as well. Don't be a girl about it. These grills are not screwed in at all...just tabs keeping them in place. But if you don't feel comfortable go ahead with that link you gave me and follow the directions. When you get them out you'll be looking at them and saying to yourself "why the he'll did they make me do all this work when the damn torx bolts are not even holding them in?"

I changed mine out to carbon fiber

I get it that the torx screws don't hold the grille, They need to be unscrewed to get access to the clips in the back of the grilles.

I am leasing this car, I am not comfortable yanking the grille out and risk damaging the clips in the back of the stock grille - because that is going back in when I turn in the car.

But once I am done, I will remember to crush a beer can on my forehead to compensate

But you don't need access to the clips on the back of the grill! NVM... I'll leave it at that. Good luck

you can do the top 3 tabs and the 2 side tabs if you push you hand through the grille itself - you then have no choice but to put the grille out hard with both hands, bracing the bumper with your knee. It felt like you were gonna break something but it was fine - then you have a hole you can remove the other one a bit easier with.

new ones pop right in.
