Thumbs up Good BMW F10 5-series front end photoshop

As posted on homepage.

Very good photoshop of what the F10 BMW 5 series sedan may look like from the front.

F10 bumper found on ebay posted below for comparison.

Hahaha Paying closer attention to this PHOTOSHOP you can clearly tell it's the original picture where the supposetly leaked photo on 02/17/09 was posted. Now we know that the leaked picture from 02/17/09 was not a real actual photo of the real in flesh 2011 F10 5-series.

2/17/09 photo:

It's definitely very close to what the F10 will look like, but it is a photoshop. And the original camera photo from 2/17/09 was a photo of this image on a screen.

Here's some reasons why it's not the real thing (from EnI on GCZ):
Quote:
The shoulder line / crease does not continues over the front wheel arches to the headlights. That's the case on 5er GT. But on 5er F10 & F11 the crease runs lower & stops before reaching the front wheel arch.

Also the hood creases / detailing is a bit differen, and so is the treatment around headlights.

Air intake is regular, not the one seen on Concept GT ...

Fascia looks almost 100% spot on - although proportion wise it's a bit too wide ... yet the hood is too steep (since it's a GT chop) ... on a sedan / touring the hood is flatter, looking even sportier

this is photoshop - look into windscreen the car has no steering wheel or dash hood. stuff like that would not be missing from real photo.

dont know why everyone keeps trying to pass it as a photoshop

The hood bonnet joining the headlight should sit nearly flush between bonnet and top of the headlight, and bonnet line should be slightly curved up as what's shown in FEP pictures. SCOTT mentioned quite a few times it would be similar to E60 which curved up, unlike many chops we have seen.

Not really sure why we even need this photo of the front to know what it's going to look like. The front will be almost identical to the 5GT won't it? it's the side profile and back that we haven't really seen yet.

i don't think its aggressive enough for a new car, the bumper is to plain and the mirrors are huge/ugly. M5 might be a total animal though thanks to the M division. btw i think this might be the REAL deal or at least 95% close to the production line, because as far as i have seen jon sibal's rendering's have been spot on

I like how these front bumpers "leak" months before official release.

on the new Z4 they said they started "testing" the car about 2 1/2 years back before the official release so this shouldn't be surprising.

Nah, different front end. Basically, different car altogether.

!!!!The photo is NOT the real deal, but chopped from a 5 GT!!!! When you see the official pictures, you will clearly see some differences. One difference I can see is the crease that runs through the front wheel arch into the head lights, you won't see that on the F10.

Be surprised.

The corners kinda remind me of a Benz.
