no way of mistakenly installing them backwards? front>rear rear>fronts?

no, I made sure to verify which ones were front and rear by the markings on the springs according to the h&r sheet .. the only step I missed was measuring before and after since there is an obvious difference in the height of the springs when compared. The one thing that did come to mind is that I have the N20 4 cylinder and most of the cars I have seen with lowering springs seem to have the 6 cylinder engine.

do you think it is possible that the weight of the engine comes into play making the drop a little less?

you know i don't know if the size of the engine comes into play? by rule of thumb they always say springs will always settle and that goes with any vehicle. i think it would have helped if you had measurements before and after that way you can see what the end measurements are after the settling period to see if it actually did settle

well it's definitely lower than it was from Factory otherwise the Gap would about 4 inches.

I'll just have to wait and see if it settles more.

I didn't take the measurements because I don't see how or why it wouldn't lower the car the only possible scenario if the Springs were not seated properly on the insulators but they are seated properly so I guess it is what it is. Maybe if it doesn't settle I'll just sell the springs and put some coilovers but this is the family car so I don't want to slam it.

However.. I must close that Gap!
she is just going to have to deal with it..

Car color and wheel combo look awesome man. With that color combo I would suggest getting your calipers painted and trim blacked out. Red calipers or yellow with the green paint and grey rims would look really good

I knew something wasn't right, Im glad you found the problem. You can still measure the height of the your drop, the process is on that orangish sheet you have in your picture of the springs from one of your other posts. It's possible the weight of your engine might also prevent it from getting as low as the six cylinder since they are the same springs for both engine types, but that would depend on how much each engine weighs Hopefully it doesn't and when you get the upper spring perch seated properly it will reduce that gap and get your newly modded ride looking Dope Azz Frick!

Post new post pics and measure it anyway to see if it settles over the next few weeks.

Ha! There you go! I've seen way too many photos of members posting their rides after a spring drop and yours stood out like a sore thumb compared to everyone else's. Can't wait to see what it looks like after you fix it

Nice! what a difference than before! give it time to settle like Teddy said...hopefully it'll drop another 1/2" or more. those wheels really compliment the color of your car...good choice!

Very nice!! Give it a little bit and it will settle in. Don't forget to get an alignment afterwards.

Yea already done.. drove it about 75 miles before He realigned it.
He is going to check it in a week or two to make sure.
you can see the difference in the pic.

like I said ..techs at my disposal
these guys are great .. since I am their favorite parts guy they help me out a lot when needed, but I usually try to do things on my own.

I am glad you guys are on here to critique my sh!t or else I may have left it alone and not bothered checking to see what the funk was wrong with it.
